Somber and damp was the overcast street as the raindrops swipe at my face, pulling me into radiant yellow streetlights above. Tearing my way, a shadowy van comes into my view. I am vigilant of the vehicle, attempting to avoid the inevitable that caused redundant killings every day. I come to a halt in the grim environment, a deer in the headlights, my brain kaput. I have nothing. I do nothing. I think nothing. Some would say my life flashed before my very eyes, yet I stand, no avoidance available in my blank, blank mind.
SCREEEEEEECH
I am nothing.
SCREEEEEEECH
I am nothing.
